St. Johns House, Ramsden

Proposal for a truly outstanding new country house on a prominent greenfield 60-acre site with panoramic views over the Cotswolds.

The design has 4 storeys of accommodation with 8 bedroom suites, 4 reception rooms and state-of-the-art entertainment facilities.

The landscaped parkland is laid out with 2 entrance lodges, a gazebo guesthouse approached by bridge, a palm house, a games barn, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and copious garaging.

This project won national recognition when it was granted planning permission at public inquiry in 2004. It is the only modern house to win consent at public inquiry under the PPG7 policy which allowed only truly outstanding new country houses of the very highest design quality.
