AJA’s Oxford Transport Vision is published

The Oxford Times has featured the practice’s proposal for a radical solution to Oxford’s intractable transport problems.

A new ‘Park and Stride’ facility leading straight from the ring road to the city centre with no need for buses and no need to use the existing city roads.  At an (admittedly expensive) stroke it would free the city of cars and allow comprehensive pedestrianisation. Oxford can breathe again literally and metaphorically. At last.
